Ore-Cal is a forestry contracting company with the main office located in Southern Oregon on the California and Oregon border. Our corporate headquarters consists of a large equipment shop; dispatch and office center; and an equipment yard for the company fire trucks, water tenders, and crew carriers. Our California office is located on Airport Road in Redding, one half mile north of the USFS/CDF Interagency Northern California Service Center. The Redding location has a business office and an equipment storage garage.

We are a professional wildland firefighting company with two 20-person type 2 IA hand crews, type 3 and type 6 engines, water tenders, and support vehicles. Our personnel are professional, well trained, and have brought many years of wildland fire suppression and business management experience to our growing company.

 

Ore-Cal is currently under contract to provide fire suppression crews, engines and water tenders to government agencies. Our equipment and dozers are also available for fire and project work. Our equipment and crews are fully self-sufficient. Each unit has radio communications with programming capabilities and cell phone access.
