     We thank you for showing an interest in our company.  We would like you to carefully read and fill out the application completely.  Please return it with all information required A.S.A.P. and with any additional information we might be interested in.

     All employees are required to show proof of all training before they can work in any position in the wildland firefighting.  Please have these documents ready to be copied for our files upon request. 

     For those of you that are interested in any additional or first year firefighting classes, let us know and we will try to help you schedule the training you need.  These classes are open to anyone interested and are offered as a service to you.  The fee for the classes will vary depending on the levels of training.  You will receive a certificate stating the training you have obtained, which will be issued after completion.  These classes are required by the USDA,FS., ODF, and Interagency Agreement.  Trainers must be NWSA and /or NWCG certified.

     For the first Year Firefighter, a 32 hour course is required.  For those that have already taken the Basic 32 hour Wildland firefighting course or more, an annual 24 hour refresher course is required by ORE-CAL FIRE SUPPRESSION, INC.

     Each Firefighter is required to pass a annual physical fitness test designed for firefighters, and a pre-employment drug test.  After you have paid for and passed your classroom training  you will be issued a certificate.

     Before the season is upon us, please try to obtain your classroom training A.S.A.P. Ore-Cal must meet deadlines for the personnel training and record inspections.  If you have any questions, please call.
